PARKER IONICS announces several new business developments
March 26, 2007 - Parker Ionics, a supplier of Powder Application Equipment to the Powder Coating industry is pleased to announce that effective March 26, 2007 its corporate headquarters has moved from Urbana, OH to Westland, MI a suburb of Detroit. This move completes the transfer of the business operations of Parker Ionics from Trutec Industries to Parkwood Engineering Development Corporation (PEDCO).
John M. Cole, P.E. newly appointed President and COO of PEDCO announced the changes that were effective immediately.
Cole, former VP of Engineering and Development of Kolene Corporation, stated that the reason for transferring the business operations from Trutec to PEDCO was to enhance the engineering and technical capabilities of Parker Ionics and to grow their product base. We're excited for the opportunity to manage the operations of Parker Ionics and the chance to move the business in new and innovative areas. The move to the metropolitan Detroit area will allow us to tap into leading edge technologies that will greatly enhance our product offerings. Watch for new, advanced technology solutions to the Powder Coating industry's most difficult problems coming in the near future.
